Professional Experience:

Prior to joining VF in 2021, Stanton litigated a variety of real property disputes related to residential lending, financial industry regulation, mortgage servicing, and mortgage default.  Throughout his nearly twenty year career, Stanton has also practiced criminal defense, juvenile dependency and delinquency law, family law, judgment collection, landlord/tenant law, and mediation/arbitration. During his time with VF, he has assisted associations in various matters, including assessment collection and foreclosure lawsuits, CC&R enforcement matters, interpreting governing documents, navigating bankruptcy filings, trial court motions practice, and appellate litigation.

Personal/Family:

Stanton was raised in Kansas and moved to Portland, Oregon for law school in 2001.  In his free time, Stanton enjoys outdoor pursuits in the Pacific Northwest, particularly camping and whitewater rafting.
