Jacob began his legal career working as a law clerk in the Oregon office while attending law school. VF is proud to have Jake return to the firm as a seasoned HOA Associate Attorney out of our Utah office.

Practice Emphasis:
Jake’s practice focuses on homeowner and condominium association law, where he takes extreme pride in making sure his clients are well informed about their case, while still providing a straightforward, problem solving and efficient approach to their legal issues.
Professional Experience:
Jake is a civil litigator with extensive experience representing clients on both sides of the courtroom. As first chair in state trials, arbitration and dispositive motions, Jake has represented clients as defendants and as plaintiffs. Jake focuses his current practice on helping homeowners and condominium associations with their transactional and litigation needs, including collections and lien foreclosure.
Jake has argued numerous motions before both Utah State and Federal District Courts, as well as prevailed as first chair attorney at trial before the King County Superior Court in Washington State.
In addition to representing homeowners and condominium associations in Utah, Jake has practiced law in Seattle, WA, where he focused his practice on business and real estate litigation and transactions.
