Personal/Family:
Richard and his wife, Paula, have been married for 37 years. On their farm in Washington County, they raised six birth and seven Vietnamese refugee children, and have more than 30 grandchildren with whom they spend as much time as possible. The family has many business interests in Oregon, Utah, and Vermont, and believes that the challenges of family members working together are worth the effort and opportunity to engage with one another. The farmhouse, where all the children were raised, is now a gathering place for family, community, and guests, as it has been redone as a lodge in the midst of the beautiful Tualatin Valley.
Rich is also an avid birder and bird photographer. He loves to share his birding experiences and has some of his photographs on display at the VF Law offices in Portland.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
